Envol silver

Textile sculptures Sabine Halm envol

In her studio, where silver threads intertwine gracefully,
two captivating works unfold under the names "Envol" and "Envol Silver."
"Envol," the first sculpture, is now invisible to the public eye,
while "Envol Silver" shines brightly, ready to be admired.

"Envol" carries a particular significance within it.
It was the first sculpture of the series, named so because it marked
a crucial moment in her life.
After years of research and artistic exploration,
she had finally found what she wanted to express through her art,
as if she herself were taking flight into the world of creation.

Alongside "Envol Silver," this first sculpture was a silent witness
to this artistic journey.
Even though it was no longer visible, its spirit still imbued her,
guiding her hands in the creation of new works.

Through the silver threads of "Envol Silver," our sculptor
captures the light and momentum of a creature taking flight.
Each filament seems to vibrate with the energy of movement,
evoking the grace of a bird or the lightness of a butterfly soaring skyward.

But behind her textile sculptures lies a profound story.
They symbolize the human aspiration for freedom,
exploration, and transcending imposed limits.
"Envol" and "Envol Silver" are silent witnesses to the
universal desire to rise above the constraints
of everyday life, to find beauty in movement and freedom.

Through her sculptures, our sculptor invites viewers to contemplate
their own journey, to remember that there is always potential
for renewal, a possibility to soar to new
horizons with grace and determination.

A little wink to Rose.
